LaTeX
As mentioned in class, I recommend (but don't require!) that you learn how to use LaTeX to write up your homework. LaTeX is a free typesetting package that produces professional looking documents. Information about where to download LaTeX can be found here. Resources to learn LaTeX:
- A short introduction to LaTeX
- The not so short introduction to LaTeX
- Detexify: Draw a symbol to find its LaTeX command.
I also wanted to let you know some web-based ways of using LaTeX. I have no personal experience with these and can't speak to their quality.
