Rights for my popular book Sexual Landscapes (Scribners, 1987) have reverted to me. I plan to publish chapter summaries and other information about the book at this web site. Better yet, I will soon decide whether to publish it here completely electronically, to republish it in a paperback edition, or both.

Current position, funding, and goals

HNRC logoMy funding comes from the Universitywide AIDS Research Program of the University of California (see UARP link below). I am currently working with the HIV Neurobehavioral Research Center (HNRC), a large HIV research center funded to investigate what happens when the AIDS virus gets into the central nervous system.
