Researchers sequence a single cell
A report in Nature Biotechnology describes a new DNA sequencing method that allows sequencing a single bacterial cell, even if it cannot be cultured. Prof. Glenn Tesler in the Department of Mathematics is a coauthor, along with collaborators from UCSD, the J. Craig Venter Institute, and Illumina, Inc. Article.
