About Me:
I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics from UCSD in November 2012. In my time at UCSD, I studied link homologies, categorification, persistent homology and posets.Campus Involvement:
MathStorm Graduate Consulting Group, Lead Student Coordinator and Consultant: Reinstated the consulting group that provides mathematical assistance to UCSD affiliates. Grew the consulting group to a team of 6 consultants. Under my leadership the consulting group assisted with over 12 projects. Served as project lead on 2 of the consulting projects.Food for Thought Seminar, Co-Organizer and Webmaster: Food for thought is a graduate run seminar intended for graduate students. The seminar gives students a place to give introductory level talks on any subject they find interesting. I helped organize weekly seminars for math department. Responsibilities included: recruiting students to speak at the weekly meeting, reserving spaces for the meetings and providing refreshments.
