Bi-Bi is a short name for Bullet. When we first got our cat Bi-Bi, he ran so fast and somewhat awkwardly, and kept on crashing into the walls. In contrast with the gracefullness of Wi-Wi, Bi-Bi is a lovely clown.
Come to think about it, Bi-Bi has certain quality of assertiveness in him --- he goes before he thinks and he yells for wet treats before you enter the door. He has no hesitation in wrapping his arms around you (often with both of his arms) or to touch your face with his wet nose. He approaches you for your love straightforwardly. Even Wi-Wi, sometimes when she was squeezed out of her favorite spot, does not have the heart to blame Bi-Bi.
Perhaps because of his assertiveness, Bi-Bi is not afraid of strangers. He sniffs at our many visitors unapologetically.
When our dog Russell first came to join the family, we had our worries about the mixing of cats and dogs. As it turned out, Wi-Wi ran away to hide but there was no problem for Bi-Bi.
We placed several pieces of tall cat furniture so that the cats could have a place to get away. However, soon Russell could jump up and down to get on this furniture almost like a cat. In the first round of encounters, Russell had a good time licking the ears of Bi-Bi. At the beginning, Bi-Bi treated Russell like a whipping boy. Now, they are having fun playing in the "tube" as can be seen in the pictures to the right.
