Homework
Homework will be assigned regularly each week. Computer assignments will
be a part of
these homework.
Grading Policy
Your grade will be based on the scores of the homework, one midterm,
and one final
exam. It will be calculated from:
Score = (25% HW) + (25% Midterm) + (50% Final)
Roughly half of the midterm and final will be based on the homework
assignments. There
will be no make-up exams.
Midterm and Final
- The midterm will be held on Monday, May 7.
- Bring pen or pencil, calculator, and ID.
- Will cover HW #1--5.
- Extra Office Hours: Th 2:30--3:30pm, F 4--5pm.
- Previous midterm:
midterm 2006. Problems #1, 2 are relevant to our midterm.
- The final will be held on Thursday, June 14, 8--11am.
- Bring pen or pencil, calculator, and ID.
- Covers all material.
- Extra Office Hours for finals week: M 2--3pm, Tu 2--3pm, W 3--4pm.
- Previous midterm:
final 2006. Problem #3 is not relevant to our class.
