I am going to try to explain one of my main areas of research, `spectral zeta functions'. The notes from a talk I gave for mathematicians on this subject are available here. These notes are difficult for a non-mathematician to follow, so I will gradually post some background material and how it relates to my work on this site in a way which is hopefully easier to understand. I don't have time to post everything right away, so this site will be under construction for a while.
