Transportation to USD and Old Town  

The University of San Diego is about 5 miles from downtown San Diego, overlooking Mission Bay and the city's historic Old Town district. Service to Old Town from the San Diego airport (Lindbergh Field) costs about $12 by cab or $5-6.50/person by shuttle (Xpress and Cloud 9 are two of the popular shuttle companies). In addition, Amtrak provides rail service (via LA) to Union Station in downtown San Diego with convenient trolley connections to Old Town. The nearby Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites - Old Town provides guests with complimentary pick up from the airport or rail station.
