Geisel Library, UCSD

2013 is the International Year of Statistics, sponsored by the American Statistical Association, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the International Biometric Society, the International Statistical Institute (and the Bernoulli Society), and the Royal Statistical Society.

Probability and Statistics are intimately related, and at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) we will celebrate both together with a day full of talks by prominent researchers in these fields and a contributed poster session. The day will be capped off by a public lecture.

All researchers interested in probability or statistics are welcome to attend the plenary talks and the poster session. The public lecture is open to anyone. Both events are free but require a quick registration via our online form.
