Tenth Algorithmic Number Theory Symposium (ANTS-X)
July 9 – 13, 2012

The conference dinner will take place Thursday, July 12, at the La Jolla Shores Hotel. The cash bar will open at 5:45 PM; dinner will be served starting at 6:45 PM. Make sure to watch for sunset at 7:58 PM; the venue faces west over the Pacific and should provide a spectacular view.

Guests

If you wish to bring a guest, please use the registration web site to indicate this and to pay the extra charge for this. We must provide a final head count to the hotel by Thursday, July 5, so please let us know by then.

Transportation

For those with cars, the hotel has free parking in its basement. You will need to take a ticket to enter the garage and then get it validated inside in order to exit.

For those without cars, there will be a shuttle from UCSD to the hotel, leaving from Pangea Parking Structure at 5:30 PM. The same shuttle will depart towards the Hilton at 9:00 PM, making a brief stop at UCSD on the way.

If you prefer to walk, follow Torrey Pines Road south along the edge of campus to La Jolla Shores Road. Then turn right and walk downhill (away from campus) along La Jolla Shores Road, passing by the Scripps Institute of Oceanography, and then turn right again on El Paseo Grande. When this street forks, keep right (staying close to the beach) onto Camino Del Oro, on which the hotel is located. The total distance is about 3 miles, all downhill; it is recommended to leave yourselves 45 minutes for the trip.
