Research

My research focuses on mathematical and algorithmic aspects of signal processing, data science, and machine learning. I develop and use tools from probability, analysis, and other areas to address problems in data acquisition, digitization, and processing. For more sdetails, see my publications or view my CV.

About Me

Before joining UCSD as an assistant professor in 2013, I was a visiting assistant professor and a Banting postdoctoral fellow at Duke University (2011-2013). I completed my PhD at the University of British Columbia (2010) as a member of the Institute of Applied Mathematics.
