- Amount: up to $2000 for a year
Errett A. Bishop Memorial Scholarship:
- Eligible: Juniors and Seniors(preference given to seniors)
- Amount: $3000 for a year
James R. Bunch Mathematics Scholarship:
- Eligible: Applied/Computational math Juniors or seniors
Tenie Remmel Memorial Scholarship:
- Amount: $1000 for 1 year
- Awarded to current promising students in the fields of computation, mathematics, and physics. This is a one-year award and the amount varies.
Gary C. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship:
- Eligible: Math-CS juniors and seniors
- Amount: $2000 for 1 year

Microsoft Internship Opportunities
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
- Must have at least one semester/year of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- One year of classroom or work experience in financial risk analysis preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
First Year University Student Internships
Required Qualifications
- Must be first-year student with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program within the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
- Completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent class) as well as one semester of calculus (or equivalent) by the start of the program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or related technical major.
Security Research Engineering Internship
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
Silicon Engineering: Internship Opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

- Research experience or coursework in computer architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
3 months - 1 year experience of a subset of classes or experience in the following areas:
- Digital Logic Design and Simulation

- Knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages

Consulting Services: Internship Opportunities
Required/Minimum Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering: Internship Opportunity
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Must have a minimum of one semester, quarter or term of school to complete after finishing an internship
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Ability to conceptualize and design mechanical parts using 3D CAD Software
- 3+ months related technical engineering experience or internship experience
Data Scientist: Internship Opportunity
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Sciences like Biostatistics, Physics, Chemistry, Computational Neurology and or other quant-focused field
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some Engineering experience and or project course work using large data systems on SQL, Hadoop, etc.
- Proficiency using one or more programming or scripting language to work with data such as: Python, Perl, or C#.
- Some experience and or project course work performing data analysis and applying statistics working with tools such as: Excel, R, MATLAB, AMPL, or SAS.
- Some experience and or project course work with product and service telemetry systems.
- Some A/B Testing or experimentation (this can be from conducting real life science experiments, hypothesis testing in stats etc.) Not required but ideal.
- Some experience or course work applying basic ML to a type of data and or used algorithms to conduct experiments on data.
Electrical Engineering: Internship Opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Must have at least one semester/year of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
Software Engineering: Intern Opportunity, CTJ
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
- One year of programming experience in an object-oriented language.
Other Requirements Must Have: Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements required for this role.
These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Candidates must have a minimum Active Top Secret (TS) clearance and be willing and eligible to up-level to TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (FSP). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI with FSP.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
