Education: Dr. Lou earned his PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago in 2020. 

Research: Dr. Lou specializes in mathematical statistics and is currently exploring online inference theory

Teaching: Dr. Lou will teach various statistics courses at all levels. 

Prior to UC San Diego: Dr. Lou was a Postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University from 2020 to 2023
