Miguel Ramirez — Academic Personnel/Human Resources Manager

  • Provides expert advice, instruction and policy interpretation to the department on personnel management, classification, compensation, recruitment, payroll, benefits and employee relations.

Elizabeth Cuevas — Facilities Coordinator

  • Coordinate long and short-term department visitors, advising faculty sponsors of processes and services.
  • Serve as resource on visa requirements and application process for all department visitors.

James Ferris — Fiscal Manager

  • Lead Fiscal team member for Mathematics Fiscal unit providing oversight of all Fiscal matters within the Mathematics Department.
  • Serve as contact for PIs regarding proposal, award, reporting and audit requirements for complex programs.
  • Provide policy and procedural review, analysis and direction to ensure compliance with campus and external agency requirements.
  • Coordinate all post award administration of contracts, grants, state funds, private gifts, and donations.

  • Responsible for all pre- and post- fund management functions for assigned PIs.
  • Reviews and authorizes appropriateness of expenditure, availability of funds and duplicate funding restrictions.
  • Coordinate assigned PIs research visitors funding and appointments.

Elizabeth Santillanez — Fiscal Analyst

  • Responsible for all pre- and post- fund management functions for assigned PIs.

Linda Higgins — Fiscal Analyst

Wilson Cheung — IT / Computing Support Manager

  • Lead technical team member for the Mathematics computing unit.
  • Provides advanced technical support to the department via a variety of administrative, instructional and research computing systems.
  • Evaluates, deploys and maintains cross-platform software and hardware solutions, integrating them into the complex departmental infrastructure.
  • Monitors projects during implementation and provides team leadership and work flow direction.
  • Monitors software, system hardware and security at all device levels.
  • Provides technical consultation for software and hardware systems, security auditing and system patching, adherence to campus computer and network standards.

Saul Molina — IT Systems Administrator

  • Provides advanced technical guidance and support to faculty, staff visitors and graduate students in the department.
  • Continuously implements innovations and improvements to daily operations and seeks opportunities to automate these tasks whenever feasible.
  • Maintains computer laboratories for research and educational uses and technological upkeep of all department hardware.
