New Math Graduate Student Orientation
Join us for our new student orientation where you will meet the UC San Diego Math Faculty, Staff, and your new fellow students!
Date: September 22, 2025
Orientation Agenda:
9:45 AM – Check-In
10:00 AM – Welcome, Staff Introductions, & Program Overview
11:00 AM – Campus Tour: Explore the key spots you’ll need during your first weeks on campus
12:00 PM – Lunch
12:45 – 1:30 PM – Tabling & Onboarding: Meet representatives from student groups and campus offices, and complete any remaining employment paperwork

Campus ID Cards
All enrolled students are entitled to a Triton ID Card, which will be distributed at the New Math Graduate Student Orientation. This is your official university ID card, and you are issued one card. To receive your ID:

Upload your photo via the Photo Tool

Submit your photo early to ensure your ID is ready to be picked up

Your card will print with your legal name, unless you update your lived name in TritonLink using the Social Identities Tool
If you prefer to have your lived name printed on your campus ID card, please update your name via the Social Identities Tool prior to the photo submission deadline.
