Biography
Todd Kemp received his Ph.D. from Cornell in 2005. He held an Escobar Assistant Professorship at Cornell during 2005-2006, and was then a CLE Moore Instructor at MIT from 2006-2009, before joining the faculty at UCSD in 2009. Kemp's research is in Probability Theory and Functional Analysis, especially in random matrices, free probability theory, heat kernel analysis, and functional inequalities.
