Eugene Gorsky and Andrei Negut have recently put the finishing touches to what may be viewed as the symmetric function side of the general m,n Shuffle Conjecture. In this talk I will report of what I have learned about the work of Tatsuyuki Hikita who constructed the combinatorial side. This development is gravid with beautiful and challenging Combinatorial problems. Gorsky and Negut hopefully soon will tell us about the symmetric function side.
