Millennium Problem Series: Navier-Stokes Equations

Abstract:

I will talk about fluids. Personally, I've never seen a fluid whose velocity blows up in finite time, and I'm quite certain I never will. However, somebody is offering a million dollars to show this (or prove me wrong) for fluids which move according to the Navier-Stokes Equations. What's even worse is such fluids most likely don't exist! Why? You'll have to come to the talk for that.
