POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Department of Mathematics (https://math.ucsd.edu), within the School of Physical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. We invite applications at the Associate or Full Professor level open to all areas of Mathematics and Statistics. The position is subject to availability of funding.
Teaching and research in mathematics and related topics will be expected. Ideally, candidates will have skills and interest in teaching lecture courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on UC pay scales. The starting date for the position is July 1, 2023.
