We will have a discussion where panelists (Brian Miceli, grad student, Holly Hauschild, Warschawski Assistant Professor, Dan Rogalski, Assistant Professor) will share their personal experiences applying for jobs in academia. We will try to address the following questions. What should you do before applying for a job? How many applications should I send out? How should I prepare for an interview? What if my spouse is also on the job market? There will be a question and answer period following the discussion.
