Additional Resources for Math 2 Learners for Fall 2023
Math 2 Learning Community
This is a free program designed for waitlisted students and any students planning to take the Math Placement Exam (MPE).
In this program, Dr. Rubalcaba will review foundational math placement concepts to prepare for the MPE. Students are encouraged to enroll by November 10, 2023. In-person sessions meet on MWF from 8:00-8:50 am in the Geisel Event Room (Geisel Library East, 1st Floor).

OASIS Math & Science Tutorial Services - Math 2 Support Program
This is a free program designed for waitlisted students who are planning to take the Math Placement Exam (MPE) on Dec. 2nd or Dec. 9th.
This program emphasizes study skills and test-taking skills to aid students in effectively approaching the MPE.

Math Placement Exam Study Groups - Academic Achievement Services at the Teaching and Learning Commons
This is a free program designed for students who have already completed a Math 2 course and are planning to retake the Math Placement Exam (MPE).
This program functions as a peer-facilitated study group which focuses on reviewing foundational concepts similar to those covered in a Math 2 course. In-person study groups meet on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:20 pm at the Teaching and Learning Commons (Geisel Library, 1st Floor). Virtual study groups meet on Thursdays from 8:00-9:20 pm via Zoom (the link can be obtained by emailing aah@ucsd.edu).
Registration is not required.
